Coffee Break: Reptiles
by Anna Reed
October 21, 2016
October 21 is National Reptile Awareness Day which promotes education, conservation, and appreciation for reptiles.
Reptiles are cold-blooded, can lay eggs on land and have scales or scutes (thickened horny or bony plates on a turtle's shell or on the back of a crocodile). Examples are snakes, turtles, lizards, dinosaurs, chameleons, crocodiles, etc.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that mention any form of reptiles?
Songs played
Tegan and Sara - Alligator
Lightnin' Hopkins - I'm A Crawling Black Snake
Bill Haley and His Comets - See You Later, Alligator
The Replacements - Rattlesnake
