Spoon climb to the top just in time, as they're inducted to the Chart Hall of Fame.It's the third time for them, they were the 8th induction, way back in Feb of 2010!Britt Daniels of the band spoke to the NME about how getting bootleg CD's of early80's Prince recordings had influenced the new album.

Five lucky cities will be able to see our top two bands together in July! Another New Pornographer's track, "Whiteout Conditions" was released to the web this week, the new album which will drop April 7th.

Bon Iver is also inducted, for the seventh time putting them at #8 on the All-Time Hall of Fame Chart. They're set to start touring again with Coachella first live show May 18th.

Lorde jumps seven places with her return single, "Green Light." Apparently she was in two places at once last week: an impersonator fooled a small dance party in an Auckland library, while the real deal was eating Cadbury's Creme Eggs in London.

The French singer Jain — not to be confused with the Indian religion — that is in the news this week, hits #12 on her debut, just ahead of her first show in the Entry on Friday, which has been sold out for weeks.

The Lumineers are back, solidifying their status, with "Angela." They just played two nights at Madison Square Garden and are set to release a 10" single of this track for Record Store Day

Japandroids are also back in the basement space, with a track which describes the recording process "Near To The Wild Heart Of Life" resulted from, traveling and reconsidering the meaning of 'home'.As David of the band explained in a Theft of the Dial we did with last month.

Depeche Mode were the headliners of the BBC's 6Music festival in Glasgow at the weekend.HALEY was also there, with Belle and Sebastian, Jesus and Mary Chain, Ride and many others.Several reviews lauded DM's stage presence and fiery new material as they prepare a world tour this year.
