Portugal. The Man Are The Man! They now stand head and shoulders above everyone else for the most weeks at #1 this year! Obviously this has made them feel generous of spirit as they put on a free show for the people of Houston earlier this week after a Festival there was rained out.

Chastity Brown went back up to #3, poised to be inducted next week. Her release party for the new Red House Records album 'Silhouette of Sirens' at The Fitzgerald Theater last Friday was a sell out, prompting her to say during the encore..."I'm touched to see you all here." Our man Nate Ryan was there too, taking some pictures.

Father John Misty bounced back up to #8 this week. We aired his stunning Micro Show performance this week. When he offered to play requests toward the end of the show, he specifically thanked one person for suggesting a song from his new album, apparently feeling like it has not pleased all his fans, but he did play a few oldies.

They've already gotten a Twitter thumbs up from Taylor Swift and done a well reviewed SNL appearance now HAIM have the highest new entry spot on our chart, for the first single from the new album coming July 7th.

Bon Iver are back with another track from '22 A Million', a new entry at #16. They also had a festival set in Ireland disturbed by rain, although they'd played an extra warm up mixtape set earlier in the afternoon.

Dublin born Imelda May makes her debut this week with a sad song from her new divorce album. She's playing the big Isle of Wight festival this weekend and apparently counts our own Bob Dylan as a fan.

Paris-based Phoenix are back with the first track released from their new 'Ti Amo' which is out this Friday. They just posted another sun-soaked video for the song "Goodbye Soleil".

Laura Marling took a two week hiatus, but is back at #19. Her 'Semper Femina' has remained on my Top 10 for the year so far and she posted a stunning video for another of my fave tracks, 'The Valley'.

Dublin seems to be a theme this week, as it's the site of the next performance from Blondie, new at #20. They perform right before the returning Phil Collins, who apparently has been playing some old hits, including 'Sussudio'. But Blondie apparently surprised some fans in Australia recently by NOT performing some of their hits. So be warned if you have tickets for the sold out show at Mystic Showroom July 21st with Garbage.
