Thursday marks the 47th birthday of Lauryn Hill, the Fugees legend who released The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1998. Featuring singles “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and “Everything Is Everything,” the album is a classic, and it remains her only album to date.

Hill is part of a select group of musicians who have only released one full-length studio album. In some cases, these albums were always intended to be just a one-off. Band breakups and tragic deaths have also kept some artists’ catalogs stuck at only one entry. Like Lauryn Hill, there are several other acts that only needed one album to make music history.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs from musicians who only released one album would you like to hear?
