The Time Machine makes a stop in 1970 this week. The Beatles made it official and broke up, but left us a nice parting gift, and a bunch of solo material. Joni Mitchell wrote and recorded a song for the ages. Grateful Dead released what was probably their best studio album. It was a banner year for both CCR and Sly and the Family Stone. It’s all 1970 our year on this episode of Time Machine.
